Account Holder – How to set up email forwarding

How it works

Email forwarding is not included in an MDC DOT subscription, but you can add this feature by contacting our support team. There is a one-time setup fee of $100.

The email forwarding feature allows users to send emails through the same domain name. Once email forwarding is set up, a personalized “From” email address is generated for all users using [Site Name]@[Your white label domain]. A benefit of doing this is increased deliverability rates, providing a professional and unified email address to your users while saving your team the energy and cost of creating and purchasing their own email address with a personalized domain name.

The Site Name is made by users during sign-up. Here is an example of an email forwarding email address:

If your domain name is mydomainname.com, and your Site Name is mysitename, your From email address would be [email protected].

If email forwarding is set up, all From email addresses for all emails will be labeled with the forwarding email address, and email replies to this From email address will be immediately forwarded to the Account Email.

Once email forwarding is set up, can I change my forwarding From email address?

A From email address can only be changed by changing the Site Name – we do this to protect users and email recipients. Please call support if you want to change your Site Name. Please note that changing the Site Name will render the cookies on any associated leads’ browsers ineffective.
