The lead ID tracking tag

To identify the pageviews of your contacts, share links with the following tracking tag:

?lead_id={LEAD_ID|}

This tracking tag can only be used with URLs that are already being tracked by MDC DOT.

How to use it

The lead id tracking tag is automatically added to all hyperlinks in campaign emails and Dotcast emails. But if you are sharing a tracked link with a contact through personal email or other means, you can replace {LEAD_ID|} with the lead id number of the contact with whom you are sharing the link. You can find their id number by going to the contact’s profile.

Put the tag at the end of a url that is already being tracked by MDC DOT.
For example:

http://www.mywebsite.com/?lead_id=16
https://subdomain.mywebsite.com/article-name?lead_id=16
